It's probably just me, but i think the yellow text above the bios, might be in the theme song. To me they kinda read like song lyrics.

Its a real shame they have not painted the weapons.... The prototypes always are better, but Its a shame the cheeped out a little on the skin tones and paint on the handles.

There are few rhyming words, and the wording doesn't seem to easily fit any sort of meter, so I'd say probably not.

Looks good. If I'm able to find it at retail, I'll most likely get it. If for no other reason, the artwork looks nice.

If I'm not mistaken, it's a calendar that'll include November and December from this year, all of next year, and then January and February of 2014.

A 16 month calendar starts in August and runs through the end of 2014. It's done that way to sell calendars now. I always buy mine in February when everyone has them for like $3.

I may buy the calendar, but mostly, it will be the books for me. They have most of those images, AND, there will likely be more - especially with the How To Draw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.:tsmile:

After seeing the cardback for the figures I am really warming up to the guys even more.I may not buy the figures(I didn't back in the 80's-90's)but are still cool.

Guess I'll be heading to the mall then to get it if it comes out in Aug. There's a keosk in the Tacoma Mall that always has the latest calendars. I could also pre-order it on their website calendars.com (it's where I got my current TMNT calendar...which is now $3.49 on calendars.com *lol* It's an OT Calendar). Interestingly enough calendars.com lists the release date as Aug 15th and has it in the Tween category. *lol*

yeah, not too thrilled about these costumes. the description mentions don and mikey, but i haven't seen them yet. The masks are pretty cool though, and if they do mikey and don it would be cool if they added some details like mikeys freckles or dons gap in his teeth

The vilians that we can be sure that we will see in firs in first season will be Shredder, Foot Ninjas, Baxter Stockman, Shredder right hand man, Kraaang and some new vilians. These was the vilians that we saw from season 1 in both 1987 and 2003 cartoon so guess it will be the same.

The villains are Shredder, Kraang, Foot, Karai, Baxter, Leatherhead, Metalhead, Rat King, Dogpound, Fishface, Stinkweed.

I hope we see Slash soon.

Amen to that. I don't like Old Hob in the comics. And yeah, I'm guessing Dogpound and Fishface are almost definite first season villains, seeing how they already had the toys made, and were originally part of a full case pre-order.

I cant get the figures for a while, as I am from the UK, and I don't want to import and get stung on customs, but what do you think the demand is going to be for them? I see they are out of stock in a few places now. I don't want to pay over the odds, like the neca prices.

Yes, when they're released, the basic figures are going to be around $9 or so. Once they've been out for a little while, demand will waiver. It's just the excitement right now has people pre-ordering everything now (like I did).

I honestly don't expect we'll get anything more specific than August. If it was a movie toy-line, then yeah, I could see there being a street date, but I don't think I've ever seen a cartoon's toy-line have one.

I think it's Fridays cuz when I go to the Target store next door to the movie theatre here on Fridays (sometimes before going to the theatre, sometimes after) they're usually busy in the toy isle breaking out the boxes and putting action figs on the pegs.

According to the description of Raph that you get from the "which turtle are you" quiz on the site, he apparently has a pet turtle named Spike.

Could just be a concept they had that just never got edited out of the description, but I'm hoping it'll be true for the show. Partly because I hope that a detail like that wouldn't get through the cracks if it wasn't going to be used in the show, but mostly because I just like the idea of one of the ninja turtles having a normal turtle as a pet.

I...don't think he would. I doubt the mutagen works like a disease, at least, I don't think it would anyways. For Spike to mutate, I imagine that he would need to encounter a new canister of ooze/mutagen.

Spike could be turtle-napped by the Kraang (or Shredder, assuming he ever gets his hands on some mutagen), mutated, and then feed false information. Renaming him Slash, claiming that the other turtles are his enemies, etc...Then one day he realizes that he's actually Spike, and was at one point Raphs pet turtle. Causing him to switch sides, and given the right timing of this realization, maybe even saving his former owner's life.

Could be a side affect of the mutation. Maybe animals being mutated loose their memories, while humans being mutated are able to keep them. Though this is all theoretical...and about a character we're not entirely sure will actually be in the show...:teek:

I played the Dark Horizon game, and I like it! It reminds me of the days of the 16-bit era with platforms, power-ups, point counters, checkpoints, and exciting level bosses. The third level reminded me of labyrinth zone in Sonic 1, with a couple airbubbles and even the water level rising towards the end of the level. I played until the fourth level, and it was fun! I even heard a couple sound clips from the first OT episode "Turtle Tracks". It was Raph's "Right On!" and Michelangelo's "Let's Rock!", and both indicate a second turtle helping the main turtle in play. This is another sign that this series will be OT-influenced.

It's wikipedia so it's not very reliable, like you said there are doubts to be had about its truth. I was kind of hoping it'd air in September.

Nickelodeon will announce the premiere dates for in July 11. Until then we can not trust wikipedia or anything esle that is not from nickelodeon

They definitely do that kinda stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole first episode it shown.

I know nothing about tv show previews, or how SDCC works, but seeing how we know all four voice actors are on a panel together, it really seems like they're going to go all out at the event, so it wouldn't surprise me if there's more clips, or like ToTheNine's said, a whole episode.
